Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care

Some residents require higher levels of assistance due to Alzheimer’s, dementia or other memory loss disorders. For these seniors, we offer several locations with secure Memory Care Units.  Autumn of Coshocton, Autumn of Zanesville and Autumn Care Center in Newark offers specialized and secure units that help residents maintain a safe, personalized and familiar setting that feels comfortable for them.  Autumn Health Care of Mount Vernon offers the “Minnie K Wilson House” a safe and secure assisted living option.  These specialized and secure units offer private dining, activities and secure courtyards. 

Autumn Health Care educates staff on the latest Alzheimer’s and dementia findings and treatments.  Our facilities successfully utilize art and sensory therapies to better understand and communicate with patients.
