Occupational Therapy
Occupational Therapy focuses on a patient’s ability to perform activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing and range of motion. These everyday tasks may become challenging after a medical decline. Occupational Therapists work with residents to regain their functioning potential and perform tasks more efficiently. Occupational Therapy evaluates and treats problems with activities of daily living including but not limited to:
- Eating
- Dressing
- Hygiene
- Bathing
- Homemaking
- Functional mobility improvement that includes safe transfers in and out of a chair, bed, car and toileting
